Note: The memorial was lost when the Church was destroyed in 1940

Inscription:
“In Loving Memory of Sec.-Lieut Edward Southon M.C who was killed in action near Cambrai on October 2nd 1917 as well as many others who gave their lives for their countries and whose names are here recorded”.

The names of the dead were recorded in an oak frame placed on the wall opposite the entrance to the chapel that was presented in memory of Lieut. Edward Southon MC who was killed in action at Cambrai on 2 October 1917 aged 19 years.
