Description:
Granite wheel cross to civilians killed in WW1 air raids, UKNIWM states WW2 but research has proved this to be WW1.

The above names have been corrected from those previously quoted because of new information that has shown these to be incorrect. Not having sighted the plaque ourselves either the transcription is in error or the plaque itself? Those corrected from GRO Death registration data were DANN Frederick G to C, DANES Victor S to DAINES, SCOTTON to SCOTTEN, SUCKLING, Doris to Dorie and SUCKLING, Gladys to Emily.

All the above died during the raid of 7 September 1915, except Richard Turner who died during the raid of 24 August 1916.
